Launching the Forms Editor from the X4 Designer

How to open the Forms Editor from the X4 Designer

  1. In X4 Designer, create a Form Component (.form) or select an existing Form Component.

  2. Right-click the .form file.

  3. From the context menu, select Open Form in Forms Editor.
    ✅ The Forms Editor automatically loads in the browser.

  4. Log in with your single sign-on credentials.

Note:

  • When you open a new Form Component in the Forms Editor, an empty form opens with a default flow layout.

  • When you open a Form Component that is already filled with content in the Forms Editor, the current XML structure is loaded and transferred to the Forms Editor.
