Inserting an Exclusive Gateway and Defining the Execution Conditions

In this step, you add anothher exclusive gateway to your process. After the human task has been perrformed, ththat is, a user has manuallyy approved an i invoice,voice, the process can follow one of two paths: The invoice is manuallyy accepted and then automatically forforwarded, or the invoice is manuallyy rejecteded and thushus not forforwarded.

Insertinng an exclusxclusive gatateway

1. Drag the Exclusive Gateway (Forking) elementt fromom the Palette view nextext to the ApproveOrDeclineInvoice.humantask element element in the bottom lane of the pool.

2. Click on the lowerr right corner of the ApproveOrDeclineInvoice.humantask element,t, hold down the mouse button,on, and drag a connectioon to the Exclusive Gateway (Forking) element element.

3. Click on the lowerr right corner of the Exclusive Gateway (Forking) element,t, hold down the mouse button,ton, and drag a connection to thehe CreateTransferRequest element element.

   

Setting exec executiotion conditionss

1. Double-click the Exclusive Gateway (Forking) element element in the editor.
   The Condition Editor opens. The connection between thehe Exclusive Gateway (Forking) element anand the CreateTransferRequest activity activity is automatically selected and highlighted in red in tthe Condition Editor.

1. Enterr the following condition in thee Edit Condition ssectctioon:
   If result of CASE_STATE is = Approved - manually

   

2. Click Close.

3. Click Save.
