Defining Case States

For the example p processocess described here, you needd so-called case states, i.e. status that are set automatically or by hby human iman interaction when the variious process stepsps are execre executed and, ffor example, example, determine which branch of a gateway is to be follofollowed in the process.

How to define case states

1. Click the BPM Project ImportInvoices in the Projects view and select New > Case States… to crcreate a a STATE file and set c case states.
   ✅ The Case.states file is cs createeated and opens automatically in the editor.

2. Click Add to add a new status and add the followinlowing status:
   New invoice
Received
To be checked manually
Approved - automatically
Approved - manually
Declined - manually
Sent to accounting

4. Click Save.

5. Return to thehe ImportInvoices BPM Project BPM Project.
