Executing ESB Processes on a Scheduled Basis

The following execution options can be distinguished when running X4 processes in a scheduled manner:

  • Execution of a process at server startup

  • Execution of a process according to specific Cron patterns

Cron patterns allow you to run processes on specific days at specific times, such as every Friday, at 12:00.

How to create a scheduled execution

  1. In the Scheduler (.schedule file), select the desired execution option.

  2. Define the desired configuration.

  3. Select Save to save the execution.
