Executing processes on a scheduled basis

The following execution options can be distinguished for the scheduled execution of X4 processes:

• Execution of a process at server startup

• Execution of a process according to certain cron patterns

Cron patterns allow you to execute processes at specific times on specific days, for example, every Friday, at 12 noon.

Create new scheduled execution

To create a scheduled execution, proceed as follows:

1. In the scheduler .schedule click the desired execution option.

   1. Cron to execute processes according to specific cron patterns.

   2. Startup to execute processes at server startup.

2. Set the desired configuration.

3. Click Save to save the execution.
