Inserting the First Intermediate Event

In this step, you add an intermediate event to the process and select the desired status of the element from the previously created process status.

1. Drag the Intermediate element from the Palette view next to the ImportInvoices element in the top lane of the pool.

2. Click the lower right corner of the ImportInvoices activity, hold down the mouse button, and drag a connection to the Intermediate element.

3. In the Label field in the Properties view, define the name Received for the Intermediate element.

4. Select the Received status from the Case State drop-down list in the Properties of the Received element.
