Importing Existing Projects

You can import existing projects into the X4 Designer.

For example, if an example project has been made available  to you as a ZIP file, you can import it to try out the X4 Designer features. Or, if you have already created initial projects in a test system, you can export them and upload them, for example, to a live system.

Note:

In the "Getting Started" section, you can find examples of the three most common project types including extensive step-by-step instructions on how to recreate them:

How to import a project

1. Right-click in the Projects view.

2. Click Import....

3. In the Resource Import Wizard dialog, click Browse… and select the project (.zip) you want to import.

4. Change the project name, if desired, and click Finish.
   ✅ The desired project has been imported.
