Working with the X4 Designer

In the X4 BPMS, you organize your processes and files in project structures.

This means you create corresponding projects for different use cases and store your files, processes, adapters, XML documents, and images in these projects. Projects have a file system structure and can contain any folders, processes, process components, and other files.

In this section, you can find an introduction to the X4 Designer interface and basic descriptions of the three most common project types: BMP Project, ESB Project, and Web App Project.

Moreover, you can find information on how to create new projects of any type, import existing projects (e.g. test projects you have received for training purposes), or export custom projects to then reimport them in another system (e.g. your productive system).
