Setup and Licenses

Before you can start working with projects, you need to install and set up the X4 BPMS.

Installation

The first step before using the X4 BPMS is to install the three installation components of X4 BPMS taking the system requirements into consideration: X4 Server, X4 Designer, and Keycloak.

Notes:

• If you have requested a trial license, you will receive a PDF document with installation instructions with the trial license.

• In the Downloads area of the SoftProject website, you can find a video tutorial that guides you through the installation of the All-in-One - Interactive Installation package in just a few minutes.

Further steps after installation

After you  have installed all the components of the X4 BPMS, you still need to perform a few steps  to set up the X4 Designer.

You need to start the X4 Server, connect the X4 Designer to the X4 Server, and install a licence.

Note:

You can Request a free trial license from the SoftProject website. For a live system, use the license provided by the SoftProject support team.
