(Advanced) Integrating the Technical Process in a Business Process

This step is only necessary if you want to integrate the Technical Process into a BPM process. Otherwise, continue with the next step here: ▶️Result: ESB Project.

Once you have finished creating the Technical Process ImportInvoices.wrf, you can integrate this Technical Process as an activity into the example process ImportInvoices.bpm or any BPM process.

How to integrate the Technical Process as an activity

Prerequisites

You have created the Technical Process described as an example. For more information, see Example: ESB Project.
You have created the Business Process described as an example and want to integrate the Technical Process as an activity. For more information, see Example: BPM Project.

Open the desired BPM process via the Projects view.
Click the activity in the editor via which you want to integrate the Technical Process.
Click the button in the Document field in the Properties view.
The Choose Activity Input dialog opens.
Select the previously created Technical Process.
Click OK.
✅ The selected Technical Process is integrated into the BPM Process.
