Filtering Process Instances

You can filter the list of process instances using the ALL, ERRORS, and ACTIVE radio buttons.

Displays all process instances.

Displays process instances in ERRORTERMINATED or  CRASHED status.

Displays process instances in RUNNING or PAUSED status.

Selecting the Filter button in the Instance View opens the Filter process instances dialog. This dialog allows you to define various filter criteria.

Description

By Status

Select which process statuses are to be displayed. If you do not make a selection, all processes will be displayed, regardless of the status.

By Time Interval

Define the period for which process instances are to be displayed.

Possible values:

  • All

  • One hour 

  • 24 hours

  • 7 days

  • 30 days

  • Custom Time Interval

By Path or ID

Options for filtering by path or process ID.

Possible values:

  • No path or ID filter:
    This is the default setting. No filtering is performed with this setting.

  • Select process path:
    Displays a drop-down list with all process paths from the current X4 repository (root folder: X4DB). Only process instances that match the process path are loaded.

  • Enter process path manually:
    Opens the Enter process path field, where you can search for deleted or renamed processes. Only process instances that match the process path are loaded.

  • Filter by root process ID - Returns all sub-processes of the main process: Displays the Process Root ID field. Only process instances that are subprocesses of the main process are displayed.

Cancel

Cancels the definition of filter criteria. 

If you have already set and applied filter criteria before, they will be kept even if you select Cancel.

Remove

Resets all filters. 

Apply

Executes the selected filter/s.
