GDV Message Reader | X4Documentation

This adapter reads a GDV message, parses it according to the rules of a descriptor file and outputs an XML document with UTF-8 character encoding. Supported message types are SN 2000 / 2003, VU/VM 2009 / 2007 / 2005 / 2002 / 1998.

Properties

Operation

Determines which operation the adapter executes

Possible values: Execute: Read GDV message and convert it to XML, according to the rules of a descriptor file specified in parameter descriptorFile.

Parameters

Adapter

Main class of the adapter (do not change!)

Possible values: de.softproject.integration.adapter.ASCIIGDV: Main class (default)

DescFile

Descriptor file describing the GDV message in its data structure, see X4 Designer manual - ASCII Descriptor. The descriptor file should be stored in the user folder of the X4 repository (e.g. X4DB/1/Project/Descr.ad)

Possible values: Path and file name (e.g. /Project/Descr.ad)

Status values

`1`	The operation was executed successfully.
`-1`	The operation failed due to a technical error.
