Module Components

The following module components connect processes with the outer world and other processes, e.g., with database connections, function adapters and subprocesses. Module components are provided as reusable files in the Projects view. The modules' configuration is either stored in the correspondent adapter or XSL stylesheet (for mappings and reports).

Note:

By double-clicking on a module component placed in the drawing area, you can add a file that already exists in X4 Designer. If you want to create a new file in the current project, move the mouse pointer over the module component, and select the icon to open the File Creation Wizard.
