Installing the licenses

Prerequisite

• You have requested a free trial license on the SoftProject-Website and have received it.

• The X4 Server has been started.

• Keycloak has been started.

To install a license

1. In X4 Designer, select the icon in the toolbar.

2. If you have not yet installed a license, a dialog box opens.

3. Select Install license.

4. Select your X4 license file and click Open.
   ✅ Your X4 license is now installed. You can see how long your current license is valid in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
