Association

Association: Logical connection between process components (events, gateways or activities) and artefacts (such as pools, data objects, annotations or groups) or other drawing elements within a Business Process.

Please note that association lines can only be used to visualize logical coherences!

When executing the Business Process on the X4 Server, only process components are interpreted as data and control flow elements that have been connected with sequence flow lines, see (7.4.0-en) Sequence Flow.
