Adding Process Metadata

You can add metadata to the process definition of a Business Process or Technical Process, e.g. for documentation purposes.

1. In the Process Designer, click on an empty spot in the drawing area to display the process diagram's properties in the Properties view.
2. Select property Metadata > Manage Metadata, and click

   A dialog will be opened where you can define key/values pairs.
   

   

3. Enter the metadata properties:
   • In Name, enter the metadata name, e.g. Version.
   • In Value, enter the corresponding metadata value, e.g. 1.1.

4. To change the sequence of a selected metadata entry, click Up or Down.

5. Click OK to save the metadata.
   The metadata have now been added and are displayed in the Properties view. The metadata will be saved in the XML storage format of the process definition file.

The Remove button allows you to delete selected metadata from the list.
